Dupilumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody used to treat multiple type 2 inflammatory diseases. Marketed under the brand name Dupixent®, it is approved for conditions including moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, asthma with an eosinophilic phenotype or oral corticosteroid dependence, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), and prurigo nodularis. It works by inhibiting a key shared signaling pathway for interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), two central cytokines driving type 2 inflammation. Administered via subcutaneous injection, it has become a cornerstone biologic for these chronic conditions.
