Imaprelimab is an investigational, humanized immunoglobulin G1 kappa (IgG1κ) monoclonal antibody directed against the melanoma cell adhesion molecule (MCAM), also known as CD146 or MUC18. It is being developed as an antineoplastic (anti-cancer) agent. By binding with high affinity to MCAM/CD146 expressed on the surface of tumor cells, imaprelimab exerts its antineoplastic activity through multiple potential mechanisms.
