Oberotatug is a humanized IgG1-kappa monoclonal antibody that specifically targets LY75, also known as CD205 or DEC-205, a type I transmembrane C-type lectin receptor. As an IgG1 isotype, it is designed to engage immune effector functions such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). DEC-205 is primarily expressed on dendritic cells (DCs) and some other antigen-presenting cells, where it plays a key role in antigen uptake and presentation. By binding to DEC-205, oberotatug may modulate dendritic cell function or serve as a vehicle to deliver antigens or therapeutic payloads specifically to these cells. It is being developed as a potential immunomodulatory agent for cancer immunotherapy or vaccine enhancement.
