Samrotamab is a chimeric human-mouse IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody targeting leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 15 (LRRC15), a transmembrane protein highly expressed in the stroma of various solid tumors (e.g., sarcoma, pancreatic cancer, glioblastoma). By binding to LRRC15 on cancer-associated fibroblasts and some tumor cells, it aims to disrupt tumor-stroma interactions, inhibit tumor progression, and potentially deliver cytotoxic effects via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
