Sigvotatug vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting integrin αvβ6, a cell-surface protein overexpressed in epithelial cancers. It consists of a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody linked to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). Upon binding to αvβ6, the ADC is internalized, releasing MMAE to disrupt microtubule assembly and induce apoptosis in tumor cells. It is being developed for the treatment of solid tumors with high αvβ6 expression, such as pancreatic, lung, and head and neck cancers.
