Product Description

Teplizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting CD3, a component of the T-cell receptor complex. It binds to CD3 on T cells to modulate immune responses, primarily by inducing partial T-cell depletion and promoting regulatory T-cell function. It is approved for delaying the onset of stage 3 type 1 diabetes (T1D) in high-risk individuals, representing the first disease-modifying therapy for T1D prevention.
