Function

Cytokine Receptor Like Factor 2 is a subunit of the heterodimeric thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) receptor complex. Abnormal overexpression or genetic rearrangement of CRLF2, commonly found in a subset of high-risk B-ALL, leads to constitutive activation of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, which promotes leukemia cell proliferation and survival. Targeting CRLF2 with verekitug represents a strategy to inhibit this oncogenic driver.
