Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor B2 (LILRB2/ILT4/CD85d), an inhibitory receptor belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Its expression is largely restricted to myeloid lineage cells. LILRB2 functions as a key immune checkpoint by binding to MHC class I molecules (like HLA-A, -B, -C, and especially HLA-G) expressed on healthy somatic cells and, in pathology, often overexpressed on cancer cells.
